This cutie! I think it's time to put a different lens on my camera to hopefully catch fewer fuzzy photos of Maeve. She thought the sound of the shutter on my camera was hilarious! I took some photos of her with my old film camera too and can't wait to see how those turned out!

Maeve is 17 months old and is almost 17 pounds. She's still rocking her 6-12 month clothing! Keeping my baby a baby as long as possible!

Maeve is so sweet in these cute little short overalls that her Nana, Cathy, bought for her! 

Give Maeve a ride on motorcycle and she is one happy gal! Love, love, love this girl so much! I want to buy or borrow a ride on toy for her when we get home. 

Maeve entertains us every meal. She's getting more stubborn by the day and insists on using a fork to eat. She loves to feed her family and sometimes herself. I can't wait until we have a high chair again!

One problem with Ecuador is that we don't have a high chair, but we do have a 15 month old baby who is a messy eater. We did primarily baby led weaning with Maeve so she's used to feeding herself. Funnily enough, she eats more when we feed her. Meal time is usually a pretty big mess, but fortunately over the last almost 6 weeks, Conor and I have both chilled out about it. Maeve loves utensils, she loves eating off our plates and she loves avocados. Oddly, she would not touch avocados in the USA, but here she loves them! It's not uncommon for me to be preparing a meal and giving her bites of avocado. It's so funny to watch her scoot towards me with her mouth open. My little bird.
